Lamella Clarifier

Image
Lamella Clarifier  is a solid liquid Separator based on Sedimentation Process. The entire space in the clarifier is segregated into numerous integral sections or chambers. There are several blades fitted in the clarifier with their one side provided with settling surfaces. The operation mechanism of the Lamella Clarifier is as the following Untreated inlet Waste Water Stream enters the Lamella Clarifier. Water longitudinally transverses through feed ducts along the tank Solids are now separated and descend onto settling surface provided by the blades Slide down continues to Collection hopper. Clarified water collected all across the Lamella Clarifier Section through perforated double wall PVC Pipes. Water level maintained up to the top of internal PVC Pipes. Clarified water through the central PVC weir Tube enters the V-Notch Chamber through the bottom

SediCell

Sedicell is a mechanically simple and robust Dissolved Air Floatation clarifier which allows simultaneous removal of floatable and settable solids from suspensions in water for high clarity. Firstly, the raw water enters the central distributor and blends with air released from air carrier water. After this, the air bubbles carry the flocculated solids to the water surface and the Heavier particles settle at the bottom of the tank floor. After the separation of these particles, clear water present between the zones of floated and settled solid particles, is subsequently discharged into the overflow of an adjustable weir. The water level in the Sedicell tank can be controlled by adjusting the weir. The floated matter is removed by the rotating spiral scoop and is discharged into the central distributor and to the sludge well. A suspended bottom scraper scrapes the settled solids (sludge) into a bottom pit. The matter in the pit is periodically and automatically purged from the tank. The...

unicell

Image
Simple and basic concept with strong mechanical components provide efficent sludge removal and clarification of heavy and fatty effluents. Unicell dissolved air clarifier was developed at the top of the sixties and therefore the beginning of the seventies. Like most of the products of the corporate, it had been used for clarification mainly within the paper industry . The Unicell design was designed for giant water flows and a concrete tank construction. within the early 2000’s, the Unicell concept was adapted to small units with chrome steel tanks to be utilized in the food industry for heavy oil and grease removal. The clarified water extraction was simplified (the bottom clarified water recovery pipes disappeared) and therefore the surface scraper was complemented by a paddle wheel to enhance the floated sludge removal capacity. By the center of the last decade the market demand for giant sea water and water DAF clarifiers increased significantly. This led KWI to mix the historic...

benefits of using Tpi-cpi-oil-water separator

Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF)  is one o f  the water filtration methods which helps in clarifying the wastewater with the removal of suspended solids. The removal of the waste products gets achieved by dissolving air into the water then releasing the pressurized air in a floatation tank. The air which gets released forms the tiny bubbles which cause the suspended matter to float over the surface of the water in  Dissolved air flotation (DAF) .     Though several restricted sites are providing excellent designs of the DAF,  Krofta   Engineerin g  offers a wide range of time-tested Dissolved air flotation solutions. It gives a unique DAF system that can easily combine flotation, flocculation, and filtration in a single unit.   Why Dissolved air flotation gets used?   DAFs are gaining high popularity as they get used for the treatment of the industrial wastewater from the chemical plants, oil refineries, and even from the paper mills...

Petroleum equipment and manufacturing industry

Petroleum equipment and manufacturing industry manufacture machinery and equipment utilized in oil and gas exploration and production, also as water well drilling machinery. Demand is driven by oil and gas prices. The profit of individual companies depends on efficient production and engineering expertise. Large companies have economies of scale in purchasing. Small companies can compete effectively by specializing. The US industry is very concentrated: the highest 50 companies account for about 80% of revenue. Major products include pipe, derricks, drill bits, valves, portable rigs, drilling motors, well monitoring instruments, tubing, wellheads, wireline systems, blowout preventers, and oil and gas separators are made in Petroleum equipment and manufacturing companies. Line of oil and gas field services are also offer by some companies. Such services may include drilling, well completions, geological and drilling surveillance, and artificial lift services (pumps and other s...

Desalination Treatment

Desalination is a procedure that takes away mineral components from salty water. More generally, purification said to the exclusion of sodium and crystals from a target substance as in soil detoxification, which is a problem for agriculture. Saltwater is desalinated to supply water, especially for human consumption or irrigation. The by-product of the desalination process is brine. Alongside recycled wastewater, it's one among the few rainfall-independent water sources. Desalination processes are usually driven by either thermal (in the case of distillation) or electrical because of the primary energy types. Kuwait produces a better proportion of its water through desalination than the other country, totaling 100% of its water use.  Solar distillation Solar distillation mimics the natural water cycle, during which the sun heats the ocean water enough for evaporation to occur. After vanishing, the water vapor is reduced against a cool surface. There are two sorts of solar desa...

Tpi oil separator

We all know the old saying about how oil and water don’t mix. In the waste water treatment industry, however, it’s not so easy to divide these two dissimilar substances. In fact, removing oil from wastewater during processing requires the use of specific equipment. So, what is the problem with oil? Why does it need to be separated from water? Simply put, it poses an environmental hazard. Oils found in wastewater include not only the cooking oils and grease that homes, restaurants, and other commercial activities wash down the drain, but also petroleum and other hazardous products. These disrupt ecological systems and are harmful to plants, animals, and us humans. Of course, there are several equations and formulae that are important to incorporate when it comes to evaluating the appropriate size or style of oil water separator a certain application calls for. But the one to keep in mind is: Oil + Solids + Time = SLUDGE Simply put, Krofta’s oil water separator ...
