Make Waste Management Truly 21st Century
It’s a shame that people in industrial organizations, commercial outlets, healthcare facilities, eateries, and even individual households pay so little heed to waste management. Yet proper waste management is vital to control, and then reverse soil and water pollution. From proper collection to transportation to safe disposal of waste, there should be appropriate classification as to solid waste, water waste, hazardous waste, organic waste, and recyclable waste. Much of organic waste - which households and eateries generate - can be converted into organic fertilizers, and/or into bio fuels. Hazardous waste, i.e. those which are corrosive, inflammable, toxic (poisonous), and or explosive (highly reactive), needs to be disposed appropriately to prevent risk to human or animal health, and the environment.
