Sedicell

Image
Sedicell  is a mechanically simple and robust Dissolved Air Floatation clarifier that allows simultaneous removal of floatable and settable solids from suspensions in water for high clarity. Firstly, the raw water enters the central distributor and blends with air released from air carrier water. After this, the air bubbles carry the flocculated solids to the water surface and the Heavier particles settle at the bottom of the tank floor. After the separation of these particles, clear water present between the zones of floated and settled solid particles is subsequently discharged into the overflow of an adjustable weir. Performance HIGH CLARIFICATION and reduction of filterable suspended solids are obtained to meet Pollution Control Authority requirements. SLUDGE CONSISTENCY, maintained by the intermittent operation of the scoop along with adjustments of the tank water level, average 3-6% FLOCCULATING CHEMICALS can be added in several places depending on the effluent. Removals of 80-90

Belt Filter Press

Image
We, in technical collaboration with AJV Engineering, Finland, have introduced   Belt Filter Press in India. Our technical collaborators have the distinction of marketing more than 500 belt filters across the world. We have also manufactured and supplied Belt Filter Presses to numerous paper mills in India and abroad for enhancing their Sludge disposal system, for transporting the Sludge for disposal or for any other use of lower grade board mills or for use as manure. Belt Filter Press is used for squeezing the sludge from the following: Primary Clarifier Secondary Clarifier Deinking process Bagasse Pith Sewage treatment plant   Our Belt Filter Presses can efficiently squeeze Sludge with 1 to 30% consistency along with the addition of Polyacrylamide based flocculent. This flocculent ensures better drainage and achievement of dryness with 25 to 30% consistency. Belt Filter Presses are specifically designed for sludge handling from 25 tons/d to 30 tons/d capacities having power consumpti

Megacell

Krofta introduces State of the Art Technology: NEW DAF especially designed for Paper Industry. A unique technique, far enhanced compared to circular machines The Megacell is provided with high performance and automatically sturdy floated sludge removal device. The scraping and therefore the sludge extraction area unit separated so as to produce best fulfillment of those functions. This mix avoids the utilization of rubber gaskets usually employed in standard scrapers pushing and extracting the floated sludge. Megacell is usually designed with a cone like bottom. The device is intended for optimum potency with much no maintenance. SALIENT BENEFITS:  50-70% savings* in Civil Cost compared to Sedicell.  Higher capacity Product at Low Foot Print (Required lessor land space )  Much Lower running Power cost in comparison to Present DAF Technology;  Excellent Output performance;  Cheaper installation cost*  A very compact unit* Megacell Product Range: Model Number Maximum Flow(m³/h) Power (kW

KROFTA is one of the leading   paper machinery supplier   for pulp and paper industry. It supplies paper Industry equipment like spray filter, pressure sand filter, and activated carbon filter. The   pulp and paper industry   machines are useful in extracting the good quality of pulp from the plant fiber which is main raw material to obtain the pulp. The KROFTA paper industry equipment helps in obtaining more pulp with less plant fiber this prevents cutting down the more trees for pulp and paper industry. The pulp and paper industry uses two types of pulp in paper manufacturing. One is obtained from the trees and the other is obtained from the recycling of the paper which we mainly get from the paper packaging industry. The production of recycled pulp is expensive as it contains recovery the paper, pulping and removing the inks and unwanted particles or waste to get the high quality of pulp from recycled paper. The KROFTA spray filter, pressure sand filter, and activated carbon filter

As a result of the ample supply of highly toxic and hazardous refractory organic, inorganic, and organometallic compounds.  pathogenic microorganisms and chemical elements including heavy metals, which reach distant areas due to the medium of dispersion and thereby create an ecological discomfort and harmful health hazards in life forms, wastewater generated from various sources such as municipal, domestic, and industrial activities is the primary global environmental concern. Although it is currently impossible to prevent wastewater from being released into the environment, it is possible to mitigate its gravely detrimental impacts on people and the entire ecosystem by treating the wastewater using a variety of techniques. Therefore, before the wastewater is disposed of into the environment, sufficient treatment is necessary.    Integrated wastewater treatment  By combining two or more biological, physical, and chemical processes, integrated treatment techniques have been used exten

Ozone Generator

Ozone generators are being marketed as an efficient way to remove odors and pollutants from indoor air. However, ozone has been linked to negative health impacts. Available scientific research indicates that safe-to-breathe ozone concentrations are unlikely to be beneficial in mitigating indoor air pollution. Ozone is described in a number of ways by manufacturers and suppliers of ozone devices. Terms like "energetic oxygen" and "clean air" imply that ozone is a "healthy" type of oxygen. However, ozone is a hazardous gas with characteristics extremely different from oxygen. Ozone, whether in its pure form or coupled with other substances, may be damaging to one's health.    What is the purpose of an ozone generator?  An ozone generator is a device that generates the gas ozone. Ozone is useful in water filtration, however ozone levels in the air must be high in order to eliminate impurities. Experts advise that it is critical to regulate conditions so t

Electrical coagulation

Image
What is electrical coagulation?   Direct current is applied to electrical contacts that are dipped in an aqueous solution using the electrocoagulation (EC) method. The electro-oxidation of a sacrificial anode, which is often constructed of iron or aluminum, produces a flocculating agent. EC is an easy and effective method to remove this flocculating agent.   What is the principle of electrocoagulation?   Its fundamental idea is based on how water molecules respond in a redox reaction to a strong electric field. In the process of oxidizing the anode material, coagulating agents are released, forming metal hydroxide complexes that neutralize particulate materials and produce agglomerates.   Where is electrocoagulation used?   Electrocoagulation (EC) is a technique used for wastewater treatment, industrially processed water , and medical treatment .   Wastewater treatment   Anodes and cathodes, two pairs of metal sheets used in electrocoagulation, are placed in pairs of two.   The treatment of water and wastewater using electrocoagulation (EC) is a newer method. It combines the benefits of electrochemistry, flotation, and coagulation. Electric current is used in an electrochemical procedure to eliminate dissolved, emulsified, or suspended contaminants from water. Because it is an environmentally benign choice that may create the least sludge, requires no chemical additions, and has the smallest footprint without impacting the water quality after treatment, electrochemical wastewater treatment technology has started to recover attention.     P rinciple of electrocoagulation   It's essential principle is based on how water molecules respond in a redox reaction to a strong electric field. In the process of oxidizing the anode material, coagulating agents are released, forming metal hydroxide complexes that neutralize particulate materials and produce agglomerates.     Working    A number of processes happen at once when the water moves through the electr
