  Sedicell  is a mechanically simple and robust Dissolved Air Floatation clarifier that allows simultaneous removal of floatable and settable solids from suspensions in water for high clarity. Firstly, the raw water enters the central distributor and blends with air released from air carrier water. After this, the air bubbles carry the flocculated solids to the water surface and the Heavier particles settle at the bottom of the tank floor. After the separation of these particles, clear water present between the zones of floated and settled solid particles is subsequently discharged into the overflow of an adjustable weir. Performance HIGH CLARIFICATION and reduction of filterable suspended solids are obtained to meet Pollution Control Authority requirements. kroftaengineering.com Sludge dewatering  is the practice of minimizing waste by volume to prepare for its effective disposal.  Dewatering  the  sludge  with a  dewatering  filter press significantly reduces its weight and its volume before disposal. Digested  sludge  is put through large centrifuges that work similarly to a washing machine spin cycle. The spinning centrifuge produces a force that  separates  the majority of the  water  from the  sludge  solid, creating a biosolid substance. Wastewater treatment involves several key components: physical treatment (i.e. screening and filtering processes), biological treatment (i.e. oxidation ponds and lagoons), and chemicals. The chemicals required for water treatment must be used more aggressively and in larger quantities for wastewater than municipal drinking water. As such, safe, proper storage for wastewater treatment chemicals is critical.

  The Minicell is the simplest and the smallest DAF clarifier. The Central driven Clarifier has a special drive unit that is fitted to the shaft or cage. This cage or shaft can be provided with an overload sensor if required by the client. By means of the shaft or cage, scraper arms with scraper blades are connected to the drive unit.
